Weekly News 19th April 2020

This week has seen only small tweaks being visible on our website. We have been very busy behind the scenes though. We have a number of articles in progress, which we will begin adding to our site next week.

We have also been busy preparing some fresh photographs for uploading. The first photographs which will be uploaded over then next few days are some useful scenes of retail shops in Chester. We’ve also been reviewing our back catalogue of photographs. It’s often difficult to know where to start. We have many, many photographs taken whilst travelling around Europe.

The weather outside has been gloriously sunny here in Flintshire. It’s so tempting to go outdoors with our camera. But the lockdown is still very much in force. Some professional photographers who live in rural locations are boasting about the wonderful scenery on their doorstep. Some are taking their cameras along when they take their 1 hour exercise session each day.  We are not joining them for a good reason. We feel that boasting about being able to go to scenic places could tempt too many of our audience to follow in our footsteps. We really do not wish to encourage anyone to risk their well being by travelling during these difficult times. The countryside will still be there when the virus has gone!
